Theatre Arts Workshop offers a variety of programs for all ages to explore, learn, imagine, dream and most importantly enjoy. We invite you to learn more about each one of our educational and fun-filled programs by clicking on its title; or Expand all.

Full Scale Musical Theatre Program
Each season we begin our 4 full scale production programs. Students attended improvisation, acting, score, character study, singing and dance classes each week which culminates in a full scale production in the springtime. Classes take place at the St. Stephen's Church or The North Castle Library.
Improv/Song
Students work on Improvisation Skills, Theatre Games. Students will select their own song Song will be mastered and staged for a final production

Cabaret Class
Guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard playing students will learn what it is like to play with other musicians in a band setting. Classes meet weekly.
Junior Program
This program is designed for students ages 3-5 years old. Students will participate in acting singing dance and movement. Each class is 1 hour long. Each session lasts 6 weeks and has a Disney theme. Sign up for various sessions or all the sessions throughout the year.
Film
The Theatre Arts Workshop presents TV acting and writing class. Classes will focus on acting techniques for the camera and TV writing skills, and the session will be taped and aired on cable TV.

Voice/Piano/Guitar/Drum Lessons
Individual half hour and hour classes are available weekly. Call to set up your individual private lesson schedule.
Armonk Idol
TV Acting (for Camera). Students will meet weekly to study the difference in stage acting and TV/Camera acting. Students will write scripts and set a theme for their final acting project for the camera. Students will be video taped and a final showing of their work will be presented.
Armonk Idol Summer Intensive
3 Week Summer Intensive which involves the student in script writing, Acting, song mastery, and vocal instruction, Dance instruction. A Final Production after each session. Sessions begin at the end of June.
